Introduction

My name is Ishaan Dixit and I'm a SCPP major. I am taking Japanese purely out of interest. I'm a pretty big nerd and enjoy doing nerd things. As such, a lot of things I like happen to be heavily influenced if not outright produced by Japan. Most of my exposure to the language has come from video games and anime and Japanese is the coolest sounding language I have heard in all my years (bad pun intended).

One of the things I'm excited for this year is learning words/phrases in Japanese that don't have an English equivalent.
