私の好きなレストラン

りょうりの中で、 イタリアーりようりとインドりようりが 一番 好きです。でも、私は 元気な人だから、サウソベンドに たくさん いい レストランが ないと 思い出、 あまり レストランに 食べに 行きません （一げつかんに 一かいに きます)。ひまな時、 サウソベンドで だれかと 大好きな インドりようりに いきます。 な前は インディア ガーディン。うろさくて、明るくて、 大きくなくて、きれいな レストランです。ちょっと 遠く（とうく、far）が、くるまが ないから、へやから レストランまで よじゅっぷんぐらい かかるんです。レストランでは メーヌを 読んで、なんのほうが 米（rice）より 好きなので、なん(naan)を ふたつや マターパニールぱいや みずを 一ぽん します。

サウソベンドで イタリア りょうりで  ぜんぜん 食べませんから、 行きたいです。

えいがの晩

一週間前に DBRTに ハーフのえいがを みに 行きました。よかった えいがです。The movie was about the life experiences of a group of people who live in japan and are called "hafu's," which refers to their eclectic ancestry (they are only partially Japanese). Before watching this movie, I never knew people of mixed hereditary had such trouble fitting into Japanese society. As an Indian, I certainly had to endure some teasing based on my heritage during my childhood in the US, but it was definitely not so harsh that I had trouble integrating. This was not the case for many of the character's in the movie, and I especially thought some of their stories were quite inspiring. I especially liked David's story, a half Ghanaian half Japanese man who ended up living in an orphanage in Japan after his parents split up. It was interesting seeing him come to terms with the pros and cons of both sides of his bloodline.

今がっきの日本語のクラス

今がっきの日本語のじゅぎようは むずかしかったけど、たのしかったです。かんじを かくのが 上手に なったと 思います。 そして、今がっきの方が 先がっきより日本語を はんすのが やさしく なったかもしれません。日本語の中で 一番好きなことは 新しい ぶんぽとかんじを べんきょうしました。いつか 日本に 行きたいから、来がっきに もう少し 話して、書くのが べんきょうしたい。

今がっき いそがしから、たくさん えいがの晩と会話 テーブルに 行かなかったけど、 来がっき 行きたいです。

最後に(さいごに-lastly)、 先生やクラスメートは とても 親せつな人ですから、 今がっきは よかったです！

ースターの休み

ースターの休みに とても ながい 本を 買いて、 読みたかったから、 一日に ごじ間ぐらい よんだり ねたり しました。本のなまえは 「The Way of Kings」 そして、 友だちは ひまで、 南と北の学食に 行かなったから、そとで 食じしました。 たべものは おいしいそうだっただけど、元気じゃなかった。そして、気温が 高く なって、 風が よわくて、雨と雪 ふらないので、 そとで バスケットボールを しました。

私の両親と家族

私は 一人っ子だから、家族が ありません。子供時、私は 両親と すんで いるけど、今 ノートルダムノートルダムの学生だから、 キャンパスの中に りように すんで います。私の両親は とても 親せつな人です。私の父は 五十さいです。 そして、母と クリーブランドに すんで いて、 CS-で マーケティングをおしえります。せが 高くて、めがねを かけて、 あかるい人です。えいがを みるのが 大好きです。

今母は どこにもすんで いるけど、 三年後ぐらい、学生に おしえります。おいしい 食べものを 作るのが 上手で、せが ひくくて、めがねを かけて、かおが まるい人です。母より 父の方が えいが を みるのが 好きだけど、 母の方が そとで ながい さんぽを するのが 好きです。

ブログのしゅくだい

しゅくだいが ありませんでしたから、私のはるみは とても おもしろくて、 たのしかったです。私のうちは クリーブランドに あるから、 バスで あのところに 帰りました。私のごりょしんは とてもうれしくて、 おいしい たべものを 作ります。 私は たくさん インドりょりを 食べました。 そして、 N64を したいですから、 Mario 64を します。 ガームは たいへんだけど たのしでした。

バレンタインデー

金曜日に 日本語の クラスのあとで もっとくらすが ないので、 たいいくかんで 友だちと あって、 うんどを しました。あとで、たべものが たべたくて、SDHに いきました。

たいてい、 しょくひんを たべるのあとで、 私は りょうのへやに かえって、ゲームは したいですが、 きのうは バレンタインデーなので、 友だちと 店のしょくひうりばで かいものは したかったです。 そして、 友だちと あるいて マルティンスに いきました。五十分ぐらい かかりました。 そして、 マルティンスで パン（）を に本と ピーナッツバター（）を に本と ワインを に本 かって、 へやに かえって、 ワインを のみました。私は ワインの中で あかい ワイん方が メルローより 好きです。

あとで、 友だちは でかけて、 私は 本を よんで、ねました。 金曜日は とても たのしかったです！

日本にいったら

日本にいったら、日本のたべものを たべたい。 何を たべたいですか。 すしや日本五のさかなを たべたい。 そして、 りょかんに いって、 フロア（floor）で ねたいです。

かいもの

こどものとき、 私は かいものに いくのが 好きじゃありませんでした。 でも、 りょしんと みせに いきました。 りょしんは ふくうりばに ふくを かいに いきました。私は ふくが ほしくないので、 つまらなくて、 うちに かえりたいでした。 

今、インターネットで かいものを する方が みせで するより 好きです。 たいてい ビデオゲームは かいますが、 ときどき ふくは かいます。

私のふゆ休み

こんばんは。私のふゆ休みは よかったです。りょしんのうちに かえりました。私は カレバランドからきました。そして、サウスベンドからカレバランドまで バスで ろくじかんぐらい かかりました。日本語の しゅくだいが ありませんでした。だから、 ひまで、ゆっくりしました。

ビデオガムを しました。 何をしましたか。Devil May Cry 4とMass Effect 2を しました。それは おもしろくて、 たのしかったです。 そして、 りょしんと えいがを みました。えいがのなまえは The Hobbit。

Eden of the East

Recently, I have started watching a couple of anime on and off. One that I recently finished is Eden of the East. It is actually a short anime, but quite interesting. To give a sort of short introduction, without ruining the plot, the main characters are Akira Takizawa and Saki Morimi:.
Akira lost all his memories (self induced) and meets Saki during her trip to DC. He finds that he has a mysterious phone with 10 billion yen (it works sort of like a credit card). It also allows him to contact a concierge named Juiz who can essentially make any of his wishes come true (through physical means) Notable characters in this series include angelika,

Yutaka Itazu, who loses his pants,

and Kuroha Diana Shiratori

who is interesting for multiple reasons.

20th Century Boys

先週の木曜日に ごごはちじに DBのいっかいに 日本のえいがを（20th Century Boys） みに いきました。えいがは おもしろくて、 よかったです。

(Spoilers ahead)

20th Century Boys was interesting because of a mix of different elements. I came in about 5 minutes late and the first scene I saw was a guy  (manga writer) being imprisoned. He was awfully sweaty and looked a little frightened, so at first I thought maybe this was some sort of horror movie and that the captors weren't even human. After eliminating that option pretty quickly, I thought maybe it was about censorship (he was complaining about how he had been arrested for posting his manga on the web). Well, as it turned out that guy had nothing at all to do with the movie and was just a segway for another character to tell his story (though, since this was only part 1 of the movie, I still have my suspicions). So the other guy starts rambling on about a "true hero" that he once knew. And that's how the super-long flashback that is the movie begins. The main plot is that Kenji, the main character, and his friends, imagining themselves as 9 heroes, write a manuscript on what they think would characterize an evil organization bent on destroying the world. Anyway, in the future (which is still the past in the narrator guy's flashback), a mysterious cult is on the loose with moves that exactly mirror the manuscript. It is headed by a man only known mysteriously as ともだち. Kenji, who owns a store at this point, has to gather his friends to figure out what is happening and who this ともだち character really is (they deduce him to be one of the original 9 friends). Anyway, a bunch
of crazy things happens, but by the end this guy

(The robot kills people, not by crushing them under its enormous weight, but by spraying them with a deadly virus). Anyway, Kenji ends up seeing tomodachi's true face and dying (6 minutes pass by and the 3 minute timed bomb Kenji had planted in the robot goes off. Kenji never leaves the robot because he is too busy staring at tomodachi's face. The suspense, with regards to tomodachi's identity, literally killed him). Overall, I thought the movie was quite entertaining and would recommend anybody with free time on their hands to watch it. The character development overall for each of the characters is really excellent.
